This class is developed so that the student can create a beautiful free-flowing, spontaneous design in knitted fabric. The formation of leaf-like shapes in the fabric that intertwine with each other make the fabric look “alive” with natural shapes. A typical reaction when people first see a piece created with these short rows is, “How did you do that?” The question is usually is followed up with, “Show me how!”

This three-hour project class is a great way to learn how to make a moebius wrap by using German short rows and Cat Bordhi’s moebius cast on. Brigitte’s pattern and instructions are specifically written to create the identical patterning on both sides of the fabric. The wrap can also be worn as an elongated cowl. Doubled it can be worn as a neck cowl.
